The Dream of Becoming an IAS Officer

Despite the challenges he faced, Sharad remained focused on his athletic career. In the Tokyo Paralympics, he had already made India proud by winning a bronze medal in the men’s high jump T63 event. But Sharad wasn’t satisfied; he aimed higher and worked even harder.
In the Paris Paralympics, Sharad’s efforts paid off. He won the silver medal by clearing a height of 1.88 meters in the same event, showcasing his incredible talent and determination. This achievement marked a significant improvement from his performance in Tokyo, where he had won bronze. Sharad’s story is a testament to how perseverance and dedication can lead to extraordinary success, even in the face of adversity.
