Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is reportedly planning to shift to a luxurious new home in London along with her husband Anand Ahuja and son Vayu. Although Sonam has been away from the big screen for some time, she remains in the spotlight for her personal life. Recent reports reveal that her father-in-law, Harish Ahuja, has purchased a stunning property in the heart of London’s Notting Hill for a whopping Rs 226 crore (approximately $27 million).
An Eight-Storey Mansion in Notting Hill
The new property, which spans over 20,000 square feet, is located near Kensington Gardens and was previously owned by a charitable and religious organization in the UK. Harish Ahuja bought the eight-storey residential building in July, and it is now undergoing renovations. Sonam and Anand Ahuja, whose current London residence is also in Notting Hill, are expected to move into a part of this new property once the renovation work is completed. A section of this massive building is reportedly being converted into flats.
Sonam’s Expensive In-Laws’ Properties
Sonam frequently shares glimpses of her existing Notting Hill house on social media and also posts pictures from her in-laws’ home in Delhi, which is estimated to be worth Rs 173 crore. The family’s extensive property portfolio is a testament to their significant wealth and stature.
