With over 2000 participants competing for the crown this year, and only 24 making it to the final round, Nikita’s hard work and perseverance helped her surpass them all.
In a candid conversation, Nikita shared that the final moments before the result announcement were filled with nervous excitement. “I was hoping for my name to be announced and was particularly proud that I was representing Madhya Pradesh. When I heard my name, I looked at my father, and I saw tears in his eyes. My mother had her eyes closed, and that moment will always stay with me,” she said.
Humble Beginnings and Family Values
Despite her newfound fame, Nikita remains deeply connected to her family. Describing herself as a determined girl who always chases her dreams, she also emphasized her love for spending time with her family whenever possible.
“I love cooking for my family, especially making parathas, which they always demand when I visit home. It’s something that keeps me grounded and connected to them,” she said. Nikita also has a deep love for animals and takes care of a 12-year-old dog that she has adopted. She is also known for helping stray dogs near her home.
Theatre and Bollywood Aspirations
Apart from her success in pageantry, Nikita is also passionate about theatre. For the last five years, she has played the role of Sita in Ramleela, which she considers a very important part of her life. “Theatre is my first love. It has shaped me as a performer and continues to play a significant role in my journey,” she said.
When asked about her plans in the entertainment industry, Nikita expressed that her current priority is preparing for the Miss World competition, which will take place in about two years. While she is open to the idea of acting in films, she made it clear that Miss World preparations come first.
“I’m passionate about representing India on a global platform, and that is my main focus right now. If a film offer comes my way, I’ll consider it based on how it fits with my schedule, but nothing will distract me from Miss World,” Nikita emphasized.
Admiration for Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali
When it comes to Bollywood, Nikita expressed her admiration for actor Ranveer Singh. She praised his versatility and screen presence, stating that working with him would be a dream come true. “I have always admired Ranveer Singh for his raw acting and passion. If I ever get the chance to share the screen with him, I would love to learn from his craft,” she said.
In addition to Ranveer, Nikita also expressed her desire to work with renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, known for his grand cinematic visions and compelling storytelling. “If I ever get the opportunity, working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali would be an honor,” she added.
