Nupur Nagar was born in 1991 (age 33 years; as of 2024) in Ganga Nagar, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. Initially, she used to live in Meerut, but after her father retired from the police, her family moved from Meerut to Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She studied engineering at CET IILM AHL in Greater Noida (batch 2010-2014). After completing her studies, she started working as an Engineer at an MNC in Greater Noida. In 2017, she hit the headlines after Bhuvneshwar revealed his relationship with her on Instagram, and at the end of the same year, the couple got married.

She hails from a middle-class Hindu family of Meerut. Her father, Yashpal Singh Nagar, is a retired police officer, and her mother, is a homemaker. Earlier, her family used to live in their hometown Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, but after her father’s retirement, her family settled down in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Both Nupur and Bhuvneshwar’s families used to live in the same neighbourhood in Meerut’s Ganga Nagar. Nupur and Bhuvneshwar first met when she was 11 years old and he was 13 years old. And later, it was Bhuvneshwar who expressed the desire to marry her. Nupur Nagar got engaged to Bhuvneshwar Kumar on 4 October 2017 in Greater Noida.
The couple tied the knot on 23 November 2017 in Meerut. On 24 November 2021, the couple was blessed with a baby girl.

Nupur did her schooling from the JP Academy, Meerut and did her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a private institute in Noida. In 2015, started her career as an Engineer in an MNC in Greater Noida.
