Big news has been circulating about Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers, the team behind the blockbuster hit ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ potentially working with Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. However, recent reports have clarified that these rumors are untrue.
Mythri Movie Makers Expanding into Bollywood
Mythri Movie Makers, known for their success in Tollywood, have been keen on expanding their reach into Bollywood by collaborating with top actors. They’ve already teamed up with Sunny Deol for a mass entertainer directed by Gopichand Malineni. The production house is also making strides in Tamil and Malayalam cinema.
Aamir Khan Collaboration Rumors Addressed
For some time, there was speculation that Aamir Khan, Bollywood’s “Mr. Perfectionist,” was in talks with Mythri Movie Makers for a lead role in one of their upcoming projects. Fans were excited about the prospect of Aamir joining forces with the powerhouse production house. However, a recent report from Telugu 360 has debunked these rumors.
No Official Deal Yet
According to the report, while Mythri Movie Makers did meet with Aamir Khan, nothing has been finalized. A source close to the production house stated, “This news is completely false. Discussions have been ongoing, but it will take some time for things to be finalized. Mythri Movie Makers would love to work with the legendary Aamir Khan, but a unique script and other factors need to be decided, so it’s too early to talk about any collaboration.”
False Reports About Lokesh Kanagaraj
In addition to the Aamir Khan rumors, there were also reports that Indian filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj was set to direct a pan-Indian film for Mythri Movie Makers. However, this news was also labeled as false. While Mythri Movie Makers did reach out to Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is known for directing hits like ‘Leo,’ ‘Vikram,’ and ‘Master,’ nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Mythri Movie Makers’ Upcoming Projects
Mythri Movie Makers have several exciting projects lined up. One of their highly anticipated films is ‘Fauji,’ which will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. This movie is expected to be one of the biggest films in Indian cinema. Although the female lead hasn’t been officially announced, there are reports that Prabhas will star alongside Mrunal Thakur.
On August 17, a puja ceremony was held in Hyderabad for the launch of ‘Fauji,’ and Mythri Movie Makers shared pictures from the event on their social media handle, X. The film is set to be an action-adventure set in a period era, promising to be a grand cinematic experience.
