The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its efforts to capture Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Anmol, who is reported to be connected with the threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan, remains at large, with sightings last reported in Kenya and Canada. Known for his links to several criminal cases, Anmol Bishnoi is now one of the agency’s top targets as the hunt continues internationally.
The security around Salman Khan has been heightened in recent months. This increase comes in light of Lawrence Bishnoi’s continued threats to the actor regarding his alleged involvement in the blackbuck poaching case. Authorities also found that Anmol is allegedly connected to the murder of prominent politician Baba Siddiqui. An investigation has revealed that the shooter, responsible for Siddiqui’s death, had consistent communication with Anmol Bishnoi.
Anmol Bishnoi’s Involvement in High-Profile Cases
Reports indicate that Anmol Bishnoi is not just a passive figure in his brother’s network. He is accused of having been involved in an attack near Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartment and holds a reputation in the criminal underworld for other high-profile cases, including the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. In 2023, authorities filed a charge sheet against Anmol for his alleged role in Moosewala’s murder, further strengthening the NIA’s resolve to capture him.
The NIA recently announced a Rs 10 lakh reward for any information leading to Anmol’s arrest. His criminal history now includes at least 18 separate cases. Authorities issued a lookout circular against him earlier this year, ensuring that his movements are monitored globally.
Who is Anmol Bishnoi?
Anmol Bishnoi, the younger sibling of Lawrence Bishnoi, has grown in prominence within the Bishnoi gang. The NIA’s actions reflect a strategic clampdown on the Bishnoi criminal network, with Anmol as a key figure under investigation.
