Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is maintaining his work commitments despite recent death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. Salman has been under constant threat, but he is continuing his professional engagements. Currently, he’s shooting for the latest season of Bigg Boss 18, and he has no plans to slow down.
The actor is also set to fly to Dubai for the Dabangg Reloaded show, which will take place on December 7, 2024. The event is hosted by Jordy Patel, and along with Salman, stars like Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Sunil Grover, Manish Paul, and Aastha Gill are set to perform.
Shooting for ‘Singham Again’ Complete?
There have been rumors that Salman has already completed his cameo role as Chulbul Pandey in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which stars Ajay Devgan. However, due to the sensitive situation surrounding his security, Ajay and Rohit were reportedly considering canceling Salman’s part in the film. Whether or not this will affect his cameo will only be clear once the film releases.
Threats and Security Concerns
Salman Khan has recently received a message threatening his life, with a demand of Rs 5 crore to settle issues with Lawrence Bishnoi. This message was sent to the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police control room. While the sender later apologized, claiming it was a mistake, it has only added to the actor’s ongoing security concerns.
As a result, Salman has been given Y+ security, with an increased police presence outside his residence at Galaxy Apartment. Currently, 51 guards are stationed to ensure his safety.
Upcoming Films: ‘Sikander’ and ‘Tiger vs Pathan’
On the work front, Salman is gearing up for his role in Sikander, directed by South Indian filmmaker AR Murugadoss. He will star alongside Rashmika Mandanna, and the film is scheduled for release on Eid 2025.
In addition to Sikander, fans are excited to see Salman in YRF’s spy universe film Tiger vs Pathan, where he will share the screen with Shah Rukh Khan.
