Following recent threats to Bollywood icon Salman Khan, superstar Shahrukh Khan has now reportedly received a death threat, raising concerns across the film industry. Shahrukh’s team immediately filed a complaint with Mumbai’s Bandra Police Station, initiating an investigation.
Threat Call Traced to Raipur, Chhattisgarh
The call, allegedly originating from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was traced to a number registered under the name Faizan. Shahrukh’s team received the call at his production company’s office, Red Chillies Entertainment, where the caller reportedly demanded crores in exchange for the actor’s safety. After issuing the threat, the caller disconnected and switched off the phone, making it difficult to trace further.
Mumbai Police have since deployed a team to Raipur to collaborate with local authorities. According to sources, the last known location of the device used was identified in a local market area, and police are questioning individuals in the vicinity to gather leads.
Security Heightened for Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan, often referred to as “King Khan,” has been no stranger to security issues and threats throughout his career. Following this latest development, security at his residence, Mannat, is expected to increase.
Shahrukh was provided with Y+ security last year after threats followed the massive success of his films Pathan and Jawaan. These threats add to a long history of security challenges for the actor, who has remained on the underworld’s radar.
FIR Filed; Police Investigate Under Specific Sections
Police registered an FIR under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the BNS, signaling a serious approach to the investigation. Authorities are probing into possible connections to organized crime and potential motives behind the threats.
The actor’s safety remains a priority, and his fans are hopeful for a swift resolution as investigations unfold.
