Marvel’s new film ‘Thunderbolts’ sees reformed villains take on a dangerous secret mission, with Bucky Barnes and Yelena Belova leading the team.
Marvel Studios has released the teaser trailer for their much-awaited superhero movie, Thunderbolts. Directed by Jake Schreier, the film brings back some of the most popular characters from the Marvel universe. Leading the charge are Sebastian Stan, reprising his role as Bucky Barnes, and Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, both of whom join forces for a new, high-stakes adventure.
In Thunderbolts, a team of reformed villains is chosen by the US government to carry out a secret mission that could change everything. Alongside Bucky and Yelena, we also see David Harbour return as Alexei Shostakov, aka Red Guardian, who brings his strength and wit to the crew. The film boasts an impressive cast including Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Wyatt Russell, and Lewis Pullman.
The teaser begins with Yelena Belova, who feels lost without a clear purpose. She soon gets pulled into a dangerous mission alongside her father, Alexei, and the rest of the misfits. Trapped in a high-tech vault, the team realizes they’re being hunted, raising the stakes for what comes next.
Thunderbolts promises intense action scenes, from explosive gunfights to daring missions that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Based on the comic series by Kurt Busiek, the film is packed with the thrilling energy Marvel fans love. Produced by Kevin Feige, with Scarlett Johansson and others as executive producers, the film is slated for release on May 2, 2025.
With a screenplay by Eric Pearson, Joanna Calo, and Lee Sung Jin, Thunderbolts is set to become the next big hit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
