Kangana Ranaut is known for speaking her mind, no matter the consequences. The fearless actress has never shied away from calling out big names in Bollywood, from Jaya Bachchan to Karan Johar. Recently, she opened up about why she once referred to Ayushmann Khurrana as a ‘sycophant outsider,’ a comment that raised many eyebrows.
Kangana’s Take on Ayushmann Khurrana
During an interview on Aap Ki Adalat, Kangana explained the reason behind her controversial comment about Ayushmann. She shared, “Ayushmann was one of the first to attack me when he became successful. Earlier in his career, he called me a role model in an interview. But as soon as he started getting work, his tone changed, and he targeted me. It seemed like he was trying to please certain people in the industry to secure more opportunities. In this so-called ‘holy’ industry, everyone seems to get along except with me.”
Comments on Star Kids
Kangana also didn’t hold back when it came to talking about star kids in Bollywood. She criticized the culture of excessive grooming and artificial enhancements among them. “People want to see actors who have lived real lives, who have experienced the sun and the streets,” she said. “For my role as Indira Gandhi in Emergency, I had to undergo aging treatments to look the part. But these star kids? They hit the gym and rely on Botox for every role. I’m not just criticizing; I’m saying, get out there, experience life. But what do they do? They step out of their luxury cars and behave like they own the world, even at 40, wearing pink glasses and acting like children.”
Kangana’s Bold Stand
Kangana’s bold remarks are part of what has made her one of the most talked-about celebrities in Bollywood. With her film Emergency being postponed, her interviews are creating more buzz than ever. Whether it’s calling out fellow actors or commenting on the industry’s obsession with looks, Kangana continues to be a fearless voice in the film world.
