According to her, one young woman, a huge fan of Govinda, pretended to be a house help just to stay in his home. The girl managed to stay in the Ahuja household for 20-22 days before her true identity was revealed.
Sunita said, “I thought she was from a good family. She didn’t know how to do household chores properly, and I even told my mother-in-law that she didn’t seem to know much about washing utensils or cleaning.“
Eventually, Sunita became suspicious of the girl’s behavior as she would stay awake late into the night, seemingly waiting for Govinda. Upon further investigation, they discovered she was actually the daughter of a prominent minister and had assumed the role of a maid just to get close to her favorite actor.
Fan Confesses After Background Check
After realizing something was off, Sunita decided to check the girl’s background, which led to the shocking revelation of her real identity. The fan, unable to keep up the pretence any longer, broke down in tears and confessed her true intentions. Sunita shared, “She started crying and told us she was a fan of Govinda. Later, her father arrived with several cars to take her back home. She stayed with us for nearly 20 days.“

A few years ago, Govinda himself mentioned this incident in an interview. He shared that the girl had been standing outside his house when he asked if she needed work. Govinda told her to speak with his mother, who managed the household staff. His mother, unaware of her true identity, hired her as a housemaid.
