Salman Khan, known for his bold personality, has always been fearless and adventurous. Actor Asif Shaikh, who plays Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the hit TV show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!, shared interesting stories about Salman’s youthful escapades during their early days in Bollywood. Asif, a close friend of Salman, worked with him in several films, including the 1998 movie Bandhan. In an interview with ‘The Lallantop,’ Asif narrated incidents that reveal Salman’s love for risky stunts, which often left his friends scared.
Driving on the Footpath: Salman Khan’s Unconventional Ride
Asif Shaikh recalled an incident during the shooting of Bandhan. He shared how Salman, in his younger days, used to drive a Maruti Esteem. One day, Salman invited Asif to sit with him in the car, and what followed was unexpected.
- “Salman drove the car onto the footpath!” said Asif.
- Asif, worried, told Salman, “You’ll get caught by the police!”
- Salman calmly responded, “Don’t worry. I am Salman Khan.”
However, things took a funny turn when a traffic policeman stopped the car. Salman lowered the window, expecting to be recognized. But the officer didn’t recognize him. Seeing Salman puzzled, Asif jokingly suggested, “Take off your shirt, maybe he will recognize you!”
Salman’s Scary Mountain Ride During ‘Auzaar’ Shooting
Asif also shared another incident from the shooting of Auzaar in Hyderabad. The crew had to wrap up early due to rain, and Salman took the chance to drive a friend’s new car.
- “We were driving through a rugged mountain path near a lake,” Asif recalled.
- Salman, with his playful spirit, drove the car recklessly over stones and bumps.
- Asif’s friend was terrified and whispered to Asif, “Please stop him, I think we are in danger.”
Despite the panic, Salman continued the adventurous ride. When they finally reached the hotel, Salman asked with a laugh, “How was the drive? Are you still breathing?”
Salman’s Habit of Playful Stunts
According to Asif, Salman enjoys scaring his friends on purpose. “He does it deliberately,” Asif remarked, recalling how Salman’s sense of humor often involves risky situations.
Salman’s History with Controversies and Security Threats
Though Salman’s stunts have mostly been fun for his friends, he has also been part of more serious controversies. In 2002, Salman was involved in a hit-and-run case where one person was killed, and three others were injured. He was acquitted in 2015 due to a lack of evidence.
Salman’s life has been under threat recently. Lawrence Bishnoi, the gangster linked to the murder of Baba Siddiqui, has repeatedly issued threats to kill Salman. Due to these threats, the actor’s security has been increased, with authorities taking extra precautions.
Salman Khan’s adventurous nature and fearless personality have always been a part of his life. Whether it’s playful stunts with friends or handling controversies, Salman remains the same bold and daring figure he was in his youth.
