Popular actress Yuvika Chaudhary, married to reality TV star Prince Narula, is excited to welcome her first child. Recently, Yuvika has been open about her fertility journey, sharing her experiences on her YouTube channel. The couple opted for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), which was successful on their first attempt. Yuvika talked about the challenges they faced, explaining that they decided to go for IVF due to their demanding careers and stress levels.
Why Did Yuvika and Prince Choose IVF?
In her latest vlog, Yuvika revealed that career and stress were the main reasons behind their decision to choose IVF. She mentioned that her husband Prince is building his career, and she wanted to support him without adding pressure about starting a family right away. Yuvika explained, “I didn’t want Prince to feel he made a wrong decision by marrying me. I wanted to support him in his career while also planning our family.”
Exhaustion from Egg Freezing Process
Yuvika shared that before the IVF procedure, she had gone through the process of egg freezing four times, which left her feeling physically drained. She explained how taxing the entire process was, saying, “I was exhausted from freezing my eggs four times. The process left me feeling empty and tired.”
She also mentioned that the symptoms of egg freezing are quite similar to pregnancy. “When you freeze your eggs, you take injections and medications, and your body reacts as if you are pregnant. So, when I got pregnant, I couldn’t believe it because I had been through these changes before.”
Successful IVF Attempt
The couple’s IVF journey resulted in success on their first attempt. Yuvika admitted that despite the exhaustion from previous procedures, they were overjoyed with the news. She candidly shared her initial reaction, “At first, I felt empty, probably because I had already gone through so much physically. But, after the embryo transfer, I realized we had succeeded, and the joy set in.”
Yuvika and Prince’s openness about their fertility journey has inspired many, highlighting the reality of modern fertility treatments and the importance of support during such a challenging time.
