Nikita Porwal from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, has been crowned Femina Miss India 2024 in an event held in Mumbai. As the 60th edition of this prestigious pageant, contestants from across 30 states and union territories participated. Nikita stood out with her elegance, talent, and confidence, claiming the coveted title. She will represent India at Miss World 2026.
Journey to the Crown
Nikita’s journey to stardom began early, as she started working as a host at the age of 18. Her passion for the arts led her into acting, with her latest work being the film Chambal Paar, which premiered at the International Film Festival. Nikita is also known for her love of writing, painting, and reading, making her a multi-talented personality.

Nikita comes from a supportive family, with her father Ashok Porwal being a petrochemical businessman. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where she specialized in drama. Aside from her success on stage and screen, Nikita is also a writer. She has penned numerous plays, both at national and international levels. One of her most notable works includes Krishna Leela, a 250-page drama that reflects her deep connection to storytelling and culture.

Rekha Pandey of Dadra and Nagar Haveli secured the first runner-up position, while Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat was the second runner-up. Nikita was crowned by last year’s winner, Nandini Gupta, with Neha Dhupia presenting the Miss India sash.
