Nvidia, a leading global company specializing in AI chips, saw its stock price jump by 4% on Tuesday. This sudden rise boosted the company’s market cap to an impressive $2.964 trillion, solidifying its position as the third most valuable company globally. As a result of the stock surge, Huang’s net worth skyrocketed by $3.78 billion, bringing it to a staggering $106 billion.
Gautam Adani Slips to 15th Position in World’s Richest List
On the same day, Gautam Adani, the Indian billionaire and chairman of the Adani Group, saw his wealth increase by $977 million. Despite this growth, Adani slipped down to the 15th position, just behind Huang, with a total net worth of $105 billion.
Huang, born in Taiwan, has had an exceptional year in wealth accumulation, with his fortune growing by $61.8 billion so far. In comparison, Adani’s net worth has risen by $20.9 billion in 2024, highlighting a difference in pace between the two billionaires.
India’s Richest Man Mukesh Ambani Still Holds 12th Spot
In India, Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, continues to be the wealthiest Indian. His net worth stands at $113 billion, placing him at the 12th position on the global rich list. On Tuesday, however, Ambani experienced a decline of $502 million in his wealth.

Globally, the richest person remains Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, with a net worth of $268 billion.
