Alarming Rise in Snake Bite Cases
The rising number of snake bite incidents in Ghaziabad is concerning. Since July, more than 300 cases have been reported, and over five people have lost their lives. In response to this alarming situation, doctors at government hospitals have been trained for immediate treatment of snake bites, including the administration of anti-snake venom. The state government has also announced compensation for families in case of deaths caused by snake bites.
As snake bites become more frequent, health authorities are urging people to stay cautious, particularly at night when many of these incidents occur.
