Kajol Feels Responsible for Wearing a Police Uniform for the First Time
For Kajol, stepping into the shoes of a police officer in Do Patti was an intriguing experience. Reflecting on her role, she shared her thoughts about wearing the iconic uniform for the first time. “I’ve worn countless costumes over the years, from sarees to pants, but wearing the actual police uniform gave me a completely different feeling. It carries a sense of strength and responsibility,” she revealed.
While her husband Ajay Devgan is known for his tough cop roles like in Singham, Kajol explained that she didn’t ask him how it feels to play a police officer. However, she said, “I had a lot of respect for myself and even more for the real-life men and women in uniform after playing this role.”
Kajol on Working with Kriti Sanon Again
Reuniting with Kriti Sanon after their 2015 film Dilwale, Kajol expressed her admiration for the young actress’s growth. Kajol admitted that the two didn’t share many scenes in Dilwale, but in Do Patti, their interactions were much more substantial.
“Kriti has grown tremendously as an actor since Dilwale. She has matured in her craft, and her journey has been remarkable. She’s even won a National Award, which is no small feat. I couldn’t be prouder of her achievements,” Kajol said.
Kriti Sanon Talks About Becoming a Producer
Apart from her acting, Kriti Sanon has taken on the role of a producer with Do Patti, marking her debut in this new arena. Kriti shared that her desire to contribute creatively to the film beyond acting motivated her decision to step into production.
“I’ve always felt the need to be more involved in the storytelling process. Producing allowed me to make that leap. With Do Patti, I felt connected to the story, and I knew I had to be more than just an actor in this project,” Kriti explained.
Though excited about her new venture, Kriti acknowledged that becoming a producer wasn’t an easy task. “It’s challenging, but it’s been a rewarding experience. This film has given me one of the most challenging roles I’ve ever had, and it feels great to step up in a new way.”
