In the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show 2, Bollywood stars Kajol, Kriti Sanon, and popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh took the stage to promote their recent film Do Patti. Shahrukh Khan is a huge icon in Indonesia, so when I started working there in some shows and films, they began calling me by that name.”

Shaheer Sheikh’s popularity in Indonesia is not just a recent phenomenon. During his career peak in India, he spent a few years working in Indonesia, where he became a beloved star. His role as Arjun in the Indian TV series Mahabharat was a significant factor in his growing Indonesian fanbase, and the show’s success in the country established Shaheer as a major star. Following Mahabharat, he continued to appear in Indonesian films and TV shows, further building his fanbase and eventually earning the title “Indonesia’s Shahrukh Khan.”
Kriti Sanon and Kajol Join in the Fun
Kapil didn’t stop with Shaheer. He also teased Kriti Sanon and Kajol, diving into some fun questions about their roles in Do Patti. Kriti, who is taking on a double role for the first time, playfully ribbed Kajol on why she hadn’t tried playing a cop character before now, even though she is married to Ajay Devgan, who famously played a cop in Singham. Kajol, who portrays a police officer in Do Patti, laughed off the lighthearted teasing.
