Among the athletes PM Modi congratulated was Harvinder Singh, who won gold in Para Archery. Another Gold for India
On September 6, India added another gold to its tally with a record-breaking performance by Praveen Kumar. Competing in the men’s T64 high jump, Praveen cleared 2.08 meters, setting a new Asian record. This victory was particularly sweet for Praveen, as he had previously won silver in the Tokyo Paralympics and was determined to turn that silver into gold this time.
