According to a statement from Rupali Ganguly’s legal team, led by celebrity lawyer Sana Raees Khan, the defamation case was filed to protect Rupali’s personal and professional image from “baseless and defamatory statements.” The statement adds that Rupali Ganguly, who is against using defamatory tactics for attention, is taking this step to safeguard her reputation.
